Born and raised in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, Tandon Hawes is a Bangalore-based guitarist, session musician, and payments architect. With over 25 years of experience, his playing spans blues, neo-soul, gospel, country, rock, and modern worship music, combining modern chord voicings, melodic phrasing, and a relentless pursuit of great tone.
A guitarist, keyboardist, pianist, harmony vocalist, and self-proclaimed bathroom singer, Tandon has performed at churches, concerts, corporate events, and private shows across South India. A dedicated tone enthusiast, he has crafted sounds using Suhr and Fender guitars, custom pedalboards, Line 6 Helix and HX Stomp, Neural DSP Quad Cortex, and Neural DSP plugins. Along the way, he has had the privilege of meeting inspirations such as Mateus Asato, Keith Scott, Paul Baloche, and Don Moen. When he's not making music, he's architecting payment systems that power digital banking across India.
